India moving fast to achieve its goal towards Self Reliance in Defence Manufacturing Sector, planned to make Rajasthan as hub.
JAIPUR: In a major step towards self-reliance in defence manufacturing, the first-ever seminar on “Atmanirbharta in Defence Manufacturing” was organised here. The initiative was driven by the Gyan Shakti Think Tank (GSTT) under the aegis of Sapta Shakti Command and in coordination with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI). The event was a reminder of India’s continuous pursuit o make up in indigenous defence production, but it also put the state of Rajasthan centre-stage, making way for its new-found role in the mission for a self-reliant, or Atmanirbhar Bharat.
At the seminar, defence experts and leaders of industry converged with representatives of armed forces and policymakers to discuss and possibilities towards its commitment to become self reliance in Defence manufacturing hub
