Selected cadets undergo training for 03 years at the National Defence Academy (NDA), Pune. After completion of training B.A., B.Sc. from JNU (Delhi), B.Tech degree is awarded. Cadets are then sent to the following academies for further 01 year for respective arms/services for training:
- Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun – For Army Cadets
- Indian Naval Academy (INA), Ezhimala – For Naval Cadets
- Air Force Academy (AFA), Hyderabad – for Air Force Cadets
Ranks After Commissioning
After completion of training, candidates are appointed to the following ranks:
- Army: Lieutenant
- Navy: Sub-Lieutenant
- Air Force: Flying Officer
