What is SSC (Tech) 67 Notification ?
SSC (Tech) is a Short Service Commission entry for unmarried male and female engineering graduates to join the Indian Army as an officer.

Eligibility Criteria’s For Indian Army SSC Tech 67
Nationality
You must be:
- An Indian citizen, or
- Eligible as per conditions mentioned in the official notification.
Age Limit
- Age on 01 October 2026: 20 to 27 years
- Date of Birth Range: Born between 01 October 1999 to 30 September 2006 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualification
You are eligible if:
- You have completed BE/BTech, OR
- You are in the final year of engineering
Final year students must pass the degree by 01 October 2026 and submit all mark sheets and proof of degree within the given time. Mismatch between degree stream and application can be straight rejection of application.

Only AICTE-approved equivalent streams are allowed. You can apply for only one stream.

Step -I
Shortlisting of Application
- Based on engineering marks
- Cut-off decided stream-wise
- No reason is provided for shortlisting or rejection of application
Step – II
SSB Interview (05 Days)
Shortlisted candidates will attend at following SSB centres:
- SSB Prayagraj
- SSB Bhopal
- SSB Bengaluru
- SSB Jalandhar
Two-stage process:
- Stage 1: Screening Test (Officer Intelligence Rating & PPDT)
- Stage 2: Psychology, GTO, Interview and Conference
Failed stage I candidate are returned back on same date.
Step – III
Medical Examination
Only SSB-recommended candidates undergo for medicals as per Army standards. Medical standards are strict and non-negotiable.
