The Court Martial Process Begun with Army Subedar Who Found Guilty in Demanding Sexual Favour From Lady CSD Employee

Subedar was posted in 105 Engineer Regiment found guilty who was demanding sexual favour from lady for reappointment her in CSD Canteen job

​The process of General Court Martial (GCM) begun with Army Subedar Anil Kumar Pandey who was posted with 105 Engineer Regiment. The individual was performing the duties of CSD JCO in Engineer Brigade and the lady was the Civil employee in the CSD. On 29 September 2022, The lady was seeking her re-appointment but the JCO was demanding a sexual favour from her. She later complained about to higher authorities. The enquiry was initiated and a Court of Inquiry was held.  The Court of Inquiry was conducted by 37 Infantry Brigade. The Court finds that the woman was calling him continuously requesting her appointment in the CSD but JCO asked for sexual favour. The JCOs denied all the allegations and said that all the conspiracies had been framed against him for extortion of money. After all the evidences and inquiry in front of the Court, the said JCO accepted that he demanded sexual favour and used appropriate language during conversation with the lady. The GCM awarded him three punishments (a) forfeiture of three years of past service for the purpose of increased pay(b) Forfeiture of five years of past service for the purpose of a pension and (c) a severe reprimand. The GCM was convened by the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 40 Artillery Division and presided over by Colonel Charanpreet Singh of HQ 37 Infantry Brigade.
